OUTCOMES: ACHIEVEMENTS AT ISB

 No entrance exam. Every child sits the full course.

All our students learn in English, which is not their first languiage , and they arrive with various levels of it. We do not test at the door, we do not stream, and we do not enter a chosen few.

Every student here takes the IGCSE. Every student takes the Diploma. These are the results we produce.

 

At Fifteen

International Schools' Assessment ISA, May 2026

This is a similar framework to the one OECD uses to measure fifteen-year-olds worldwide PISA tests. Our whole Year 9 sat it in May.

At Sixteen

Cambridge IGCSE, June 2026

Sat in more than 150 countries, which makes it a genuinely common measure — and a revealing one for a school where nobody arrives with the same curriculum behind them.

Twenty-two out of thirty-nine sat a first-language IGCSE in two different languages — examined as a native speaker in both. Every one of them passed both.

Two thirds of the year group also met the subject threshold for German Mittlerer Schulabschluss equivalence, which keeps every door in the German system open alongside the international ones.

IB Diploma, May 2026

Six subjects, a four-thousand-word piece of independent research, and a course on how you know what you know. Recognised by universities in more than ninety countries.
