We warmly invite all interested families to visit the ISB Open Day on 22nd January 2019.

From 9h until 13h at the Open Day join us on a tour of our modern facilities and services around the school (Kindergarten through to Grade 12). See the teaching staff and students live in action in the classroom. Refreshments available!

At 19h during the Info Evening you can meet our School Director, Jamie Perfect and Admissions Officer, Mrs Shanta Krishna-Ravindra. This is an ideal opportunity to learn first-hand and ask questions about our IPC, IMYC, IGCSE and IB diploma programmes and the curriculum.

We look forward to introducing you to the special community that is the International School of Bremen!

EL3 students were happy to return to the ISB after the Christmas holidays. They celebrated the start of 2019 by making New Year's resolutions such as learning more English, improving their reading and writing skills, learning to ride a big horse, riding a big bike and very popular, learning to swim. As you can see, they have big plans for 2019 and are looking forward to a fantastic year!

EL1 spent the day with mixed feelings. As we said goodbye to a dear friend leaving the school we did some special activities. We designed and painted our own t-shirts.

We also visited the Winter Market and had a great time. A huge 'Thank You' to Mrs Renoldi and Mrs Getler for their very generous contributions. I am not sure when we ate so much ever before.

We were also lucky to bump into some very nice police officers and posed for pictures with them too.

Cooking expedition meals can be one of the most enjoyable team activities you can do on a DofE expedition. When reaching one's destination after a day's hike, there is nothing nicer than a delicious, warm meal to boost one's spirits! The DofE team have noticed, however, that students tend to bring cheap, dehydrated pasta meals with them that are albeit very light to carry and quick to make, but do not provide them with the protein and calories they need when hiking for two or more days.

This year's Silver group therefore decided to demonstrate to our Bronze candidates how easy it is to make "real" meals with few ingredients and in a single pot that are much more tasty than the dehydrated version. On Wednesday of this week, the cooking began...!
