Grade 11 IB Physics and Chemistry students went on a "science adventure" in Geneva. One of the highlights of their trip was visiting the CERN Science Center - an amazing opportunity to learn more about the "mysteries of the universe" and see one of the worlds biggest physics laboratories.
On 12th April our grade 12 students said goodbye to their usual school classes and celebrated their hard work with a special assembly, followed by a light hearted lunch in the Exam room. This room has now been transformed back for the more serious event of the upcoming IGCSE and IB exams which start this week. We wish both Grades 10 and 12 all the very best of luck!
Grade 4 had been learning about the science involved in different baking processes - bread, cake and pancakes and very kindly invited EL2 up to their classroom to try out their results!
On Friday 29th March, ISB students received a Sonderpreis at the next phase of the Jugend forscht competition, Bremen Landeswettbewerb 2019, held at Airbus in the Bremen Airportstadt.
The Jugend forscht committee also recognised ISB physics teacher Mrs Abreu for her dedication in supporting students over the years by presenting her also with a special prize.
ISB congratulates them all for their superb work.
