In French Grade 9 have been working on the IGCSE theme The International World. After watching a French documentary about Tunisia, students were asked to create a holiday brochure promoting Tunisia. Next, they discussed how the Arab Spring started in Tunisia and read an extract of the short story "D'une rive a L'autre" from Noura Bensa. To conclude, they explored the theme of exile and wrote short poems.

It was ‘Birds and Eggs’ week in Grade 2. They are currently learning about the Nature of Life.
Students experimented with eggs - quail eggs and chicken eggs. The experiment was to see if the ‘fresh' eggs float or sink in ‘fresh’ water. In a week‘s time, students will experiment with ‘old’ eggs.
After experimenting, students excitedly looked for the ‘air-pocket’ of an egg, i.e. in a quail‘s egg. Then, they peeled the tiny quail eggs carefully and were even adventurous enough to try some hard-boiled quail eggs!!
